Month after month, the state of Florida distributes benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) to nearly 3.2 million members between the 1st and 28th. Below, we tell you who will receive their SNAP payments this week.
Your case number is located on the Benefit Approval Letter, the official document sent by Florida DCF to confirm your eligibility. The number consists of 10 digits, and your payment date is determined by the eighth and ninth numbers, excluding the tenth.
Beneficiaries who will receive their SNAP benefits this week are those whose case numbers contain the digits 39 through 64, according to the following table:
- 39-41: 12th of the month
- 42-45: 13th of the month
- 46-48: 14th of the month
- 49-53: 15th of the month
- 54-57: 16th of the month
- 58-60: 17th of the month
- 61-64: 18th of the month
Beneficiaries whose case numbers contain the digits 65 to 99 will receive their payments between the 19th and 28th of the month.
How do I check my Florida SNAP benefits?
SNAP benefits are dispersed through EBT Cards. If you want to check the balance of your card, you can call the customer service center at 1-888-356-3281. You can also call the FloridaSNAP hotline at 1-866-762-2237.
SNAP dollars are used to purchase fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, fish, dairy products, bread, cereals, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. You can also purchase seeds and plants that produce food for the household.
On the contrary, the EBT Card will not allow you to buy alcoholic beverages, tobacco, vitamins, medicines, supplements, live animals, or hot, ready-to-eat foods.
